Davids Zinc 182 250Ml Rust Primer - Grey | 0271-34

ISOPON ZINC 182 is a highly effective rust inhibiting primer. It can be applied to all ferrous metal surfaces provided the loose rust is removed. Complete removal of all rust will improve its effectiveness. The hardened ISOPON ZINC 182 forms a tough durable surface onto which paint can be applied. Once applied ISOPON ZINC 182 will provide first class rust protection to ferrous surfaces. ZINC182 Primer formulation can be directly topcoated with most solvent and water-based basecoats or solid colours. ZINC182 should be sanded with P400 grit paper before over painting.

ZINC 182 can be applied to the following surfaces:

Bare metal such as steel and aluminium (etch primers are recommended over aluminium)
Polyester fillers
Can be air dried or low baked
Original paint surfaces (with the exception of thermoplastic acrylics)
