It runs on standard 7 kg or 15 kg butane cylinders - no flue, no chimney, and no permanent installation required. A gas hose and regulator are included in the box.

Real flame log effect:

The Provence produces a variable log-effect real flame, giving it the look and feel of a traditional stove. This makes it well suited to conservatories, living rooms, and kitchens where both warmth and atmosphere matter. The cast iron body retains its traditional aesthetic across a range of home settings.

Zone heating to reduce central heating costs:

Rather than heating an entire house, the Provence lets you warm one room directly - a practical approach to reducing reliance on central heating during colder months. Output is variable, so you can dial the heat up or down to suit the room. With a full 15 kg butane cylinder, approximate burn time is 106 hours.

Safety as standard:

The Provence is fitted with an Oxygen Depletion System (ODS), which monitors atmospheric oxygen levels and automatically cuts off the gas supply if CO₂ rises above 1.5%. A flame failure device is also fitted, cutting gas flow if the flame goes out unexpectedly. Four castor wheels allow the unit to be moved between rooms without lifting. Note that this heater is not suitable for use in bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, basements, private garages, boats, or leisure vehicles.

Shop the full Appliances range from Heavins.ie, with delivery available across Ireland.

Key Features

3.4 kW heat output - warms rooms greater than 64 cubic metres.
Real flame log effect - variable flame for atmosphere as well as heat.
Flueless design - no flue, chimney, or permanent installation required.
Electronic ignition - push-button start, no matches needed.
Oxygen Depletion System (ODS) - cuts gas supply automatically if CO₂ exceeds 1.5%.
Flame failure device - shuts off gas if the flame extinguishes.
Solid cast iron body - Rustic Brown finish, traditional stove appearance.
High grade stainless steel burner - durable and corrosion-resistant.
Variable heat control - adjust output to suit the room.
4 castor wheels - easy to reposition between rooms.
21 mm hose and regulator included - connects to standard 7 kg or 15 kg butane cylinders.
Approximately 106 hours burn time - from a full 15 kg butane cylinder.

Specifications

Brand: Sahara (Universal Innovations)

Model: Provence Portable Gas Heater

Colour: Rustic Brown (listed as Rush Brown at point of sale)

Heat Output: 3.4 kW

Gas Type: Butane

Cylinder Compatibility: 7 kg or 15 kg butane cylinder (not included)

Ignition: Electronic (push-button)

Heat Settings: Variable control

Burner Material: High grade stainless steel

Body Material: Solid cast iron

Safety Devices: Oxygen Depletion System (ODS); flame failure cut-off

ODS Cut-Off Threshold: CO₂ above 1.5%

Approximate Burn Time: 106 hours (15 kg butane cylinder)

Minimum Room Volume: Greater than 64 cubic metres

Hose and Regulator: 21 mm, included

Mobility: 4 castor wheels

Dimensions (HxWxD): 790 x 455 x 520 mm

Weight: 38.4 kg (manufacturer spec)

Warranty: 2 Years

What's Included in the Box

Sahara Provence Portable Gas Heater (Rustic Brown)

21 mm gas hose and regulator

User documentation

Note: Butane gas cylinder is not included and must be purchased separately.
