Jupiter started as the first Outback model to feature a multi-cooking surface with an interchangeable grill. Insert a pizza plate and the barbecue functions as a pizza oven. Slot in a griddle to cook delicate food such as vegetables and fish. Use a wok to stir fry food directly on the barbecue.

For the 2020 range, the Jupiter features a charcoal basket. Insert it in place of the flame tamers and add a layer of Outback charcoal briquettes. Light the main burners for 15 minutes and turn them off. The barbecue is now ready to cook with that distinctive charcoal barbecue flavour.

By cooking food on the griddle, baking a pizza or stir-frying on the barbecue, this food will pick up the unique smoky aroma of the food barbecuing over the surrounding grill sections. The Jupiter includes a porcelain enamelled cast iron grill insert. The pizza stone, porcelain enamelled cast iron grill and steel wok are available as accessories.

All Jupiter models feature a stainless steel control panel with a bottle opener for conveniently opening capped bottles. In addition to the included charcoal basket, the 2020 range also features a side table with a removable wooden chopping board.

Its large roasting hood has an inner aluminised steel layer to improve heat retention and an enlarged recessed easy to read heat indicator in °C and °F. A side burner provides a hob for heating a saucepan or kettle.

When cooking on gas, the individually control burners heat up the stainless steel flame tamers. These in turn vaporise the food juice drippings produced during cooking to impart food with a smoky barbecue flavour.

To the right of its double door cabinet is a storage tray for conveniently storing the cookware. Its right side shelf has a tool rack to hold tools cleanly and conveniently whilst cooking. 4 castors below the cabinet allow the barbecue to be easily positioned and two have a lock to securely hold the barbecue in place.
