Glass capacity is quoted in cc, which is the same as millilitres, and it is worth reading rather than skipping because it tells you what the glass is actually for. A 300cc wine glass is a standard serve, a 450cc gives room to swirl a red, a 310cc whiskey glass is a heavy based tumbler, and hiballs at 350cc and 510cc cover long mixed drinks and water at the table. Set size follows how you entertain: fours suit a household and a dinner table, sixes suit parties and mean a couple of breakages do not end the set. Finish is the other decision. Lustre glass carries an iridescent sheen that shifts colour with the light and reads as decorative rather than plain, so it suits occasion use and gifting, while clear cut styles work as everyday glassware. Two tone lustre pieces pair a coloured base with a clear body. Beyond drinkware the range covers glass for display: pillar candle holders and hurricane holders shelter a flame from draughts, T-light holders take a small candle, and vases give cut flowers a weighted base. Almost all of this is dishwasher-safe glass rather than crystal, but check the individual product before putting decorated or lustre finishes through a machine, as heat can dull a metallic surface over repeated cycles.
