LEGO Jurassic World

LEGO Jurassic World

This range splits neatly into two kinds of set and knowing which you want saves a lot of comparing. The baby dinosaur builds, Dolores the Aquilops, the Pteranodon and Little Eatie the T-Rex, are single-creature models with a small number of pieces, quick to finish and designed to be posed and played with afterwards rather than shelved. The vehicle and scene sets, Raptor Off-Road Escape and Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape, are larger, take longer, and pair a dinosaur with a truck and minifigures so there is a chase to act out once the building is done. Age guidance is printed on every box and the gap between the two types is real, so check it against the child rather than the theme.

Sets in this theme are numbered in the 769xx and 779xx series, which is a quick way to see whether a set is one you already have. The rest of the LEGO themes stocked, from City and Technic to Friends and Classic, are on the LEGO page. For construction toys, games and outdoor play from other brands, see the wider Toys department.
