Grass Strimmers & Bushcutters

Grass Strimmers & Bushcutters

Power source is the main decision. A corded electric strimmer gives unlimited run time as long as it's plugged in, which suits a smaller garden close to a socket. A cordless strimmer trades that for freedom of movement, and battery platform matters more than the strimmer itself if other tools from the same brand are already owned, since a shared battery saves buying a second charger. A petrol or heavy-duty cordless bushcutter is built for rougher ground and thicker growth than a standard strimmer manages, and suits a larger plot or genuinely overgrown areas. Adjustable height settings and an automatic line feed are worth checking for on any model, since they save the stop-start of manually feeding line mid-job.

Worx covers corded and cordless models including the Power Share range. Dewalt supplies XR Brushless cordless strimmers, and Bosch and Black & Decker cover corded and cordless options. Einhell and ProPlus complete the range. For replacement line, spools and other accessories see Garden Power Tool Accessories.
