A 6ft Christmas tree, or 1.8m, fits under almost any Irish ceiling with room to spare for a star or angel on top, which is why the 6 foot Christmas tree is such a dependable choice for living rooms, hallways, apartments and larger kitchens. At this height the real decision is width rather than headroom. The Alpbach Fir is a 6ft slim Christmas tree with a maximum spread of just 70cm and a compact 23cm x 23cm stand footprint, so it tucks into a corner or beside a fireplace without taking over the floor, and its elevated lower branches keep the base clear in homes with cats or other curious pets. The Killington Fir fills out to 93cm across with 861 tips, 315 moulded PE tips along the outer edges for a realistic needle look and 546 flat PVC tips in the core for volume.

Assembly and materials decide how much effort the tree takes each December. The Killington Fir uses pre-hinged branches that fan out across a 3-section frame with no tools, stands on a steel base with rubber feet to protect floors, and is UV stable and flame retardant to EN71-2. The Alpbach Fir has its hinged branches pre-attached to the central pole, so there are no loose parts to sort or label.
