Plug In Timers and Batteries for Christmas Lights

A plug in timer on a mains display saves you going out in the rain twice a day, and it is the cheapest thing here. Battery operated sets mostly have a timer built in, but they still need cells, and AA and AAA go quickly across a houseful of lit figures. Buy more than you think. Hooks, Clips and Hanging Without Damage

Adhesive hooks and cable clips let you run lights along a gutter line, a door frame or a bannister without nails, and the removable ones come off in January without taking paint with them.
