Interior Paint

Interior Paint | Vinyl Matt, Soft Sheen & Ceiling Paint | Heavins.ie

Interior paint at Heavins.ie: Dulux vinyl matt, soft sheen and Easycare washable matt, Fleetwood Extra Plus and ceiling paint, and Colourtrend, 2.5L to 10L.

Interior Paint

Interior paint is chosen by finish first and colour second, because the finish decides how the wall behaves rather than just how it looks. Vinyl matt is the standard for walls and ceilings, hiding surface imperfection better than anything with a sheen. Soft sheen reflects a little light and wipes down, which is why it ends up in hallways and children's rooms. Washable and scuff resistant matt sits between the two, giving a flat finish that survives being cleaned, and is the one worth paying for in a busy house. Dedicated ceiling paint goes on white or slightly tinted so you can see where you have been, and does not run as readily overhead. Coverage is the number to plan around rather than tin size: work out the wall area, allow two coats over a colour change, and buy the larger tin, because matching a second batch later is rarely exact.

The range covers the names Irish decorators specify, with Dulux across Vinyl Matt, Soft Sheen, Easycare Washable Matt and Total Cover in colours including Magnolia, Orchid White, Georgian Cream, Egyptian Cotton and Rich Taupe, Fleetwood across Extra Plus Vinyl Matt, Pro-Clean Scruff Defence and ceiling paint, and Colourtrend on soft sheen, in 2.5, 3, 5 and 10 litre tins. Related departments are Interior Colours, Interior White, Satinwood & Eggshell, Gloss and Primers & Undercoat.
