The IntelliFEED semi-automatic system advances the line with a simple trigger release, so there is no need to stop, tap, or bend down to feed the spool manually. At 8,500 rpm no-load speed, it handles grass and weeds on small to medium-sized lawns without difficulty.

EdgeSimple for Clean Borders:

The EdgeSimple function allows you to switch between trimming and edging with a tap and a twist of the handle. The tilting head can be angled to trim precisely under garden benches, low-growing shrubs, and other hard-to-reach spots. A plant protector shield is included to guard plants from accidental contact with the cutting line.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Charge the supplied 2.0 Ah battery using the AL 18V-20 charger before first use - a full charge takes approximately 66 minutes. Adjust the telescopic shaft to a comfortable working height and attach the plant protector shield before beginning.

Adjusting Height and Edging Mode:

Extend or retract the telescopic shaft within its 30 cm range to suit your height, then lock it securely before use. To switch to edging mode, use the EdgeSimple function by tapping and twisting the handle to tilt the cutting head to the correct angle for border work.

Line Feed and Spool Replacement:

The IntelliFEED semi-automatic system advances the cutting line automatically when you release the trigger. When the line becomes too short to feed further, replace the spool with a new Bosch F016800175 replacement spool (1.6 mm, 4 m). Only use genuine Bosch replacement spools to maintain safe and effective operation.

Storage and Battery Care:

Remove the battery before storing the trimmer and keep both the tool and battery in a dry, frost-free location. Clean the cutting head and line feed area with a dry cloth after each use to remove grass debris. Store the battery partially charged if not in use for extended periods, and keep it away from direct heat or sunlight.
