Electric Scooters

A foldable electric scooter is built to be carried the last stretch a train or bus doesn't cover, so the two figures worth checking before top speed are folded size and weight, since that decides whether it actually goes up a stairwell or into an office rather than staying at home. Range varies by battery size and rider weight far more than the headline figure suggests, so treat the quoted range as a best case and plan around roughly two-thirds of it in practice. Beyond that, larger wheels handle kerbs and uneven pavement better than small ones, and a scooter with front and rear suspension rides noticeably smoother on rough surfaces than one without. A scooter lock, a phone holder for navigation and a helmet are the sensible first accessories, and hoverboard and kart bundles are stocked for garden and driveway use rather than commuting.

Segway Ninebot supplies the scooter range, including the F3 D, F3 Pro D, E2 D II, C2 Pro B and ZT3 Pro D, plus matching helmets and a phone holder. Zimx supplies hoverboard and hoverkart bundles. For phone mounts and other accessories see Tech Accessories.
