Can the Electrolux EWDK5846B dry a full wash load?

No. Electrolux rates it 8kg for washing but only 4kg for drying, and its manual specifies 4kg for cotton and 3kg for synthetics. A full wash must be halved before drying. The complete wash-and-dry cycle at rated capacity takes five hours 40 minutes.

What energy classes does the EWDK5846B carry?

Class A for the Eco 40-60 wash and class D for the combined wash-and-dry cycle, both on the A to G scale. The wash uses 47 kWh per 100 cycles and 45 litres; wash-and-dry uses 217 kWh per 100 cycles and 60 litres. It dries by water condensation rather than a heat pump.

How fast does the EWDK5846B spin?

Up to 1600 rpm as rated by Electrolux, the fastest in this laundry range, leaving 52.7 percent residual moisture. Spin-phase noise is declared at 75 dB in class B. The drum holds 52 litres and the cabinet measures 847mm high, 597mm wide and 557mm at maximum depth.

How is the EWDK5846B connected?

Cold water only through a three-quarter inch thread, at between 0.5 and 10 bar, with a 130cm inlet hose. The drain point must sit between 60cm and 100cm above the floor. Power is 230 to 240 volts at 2100 watts on a 1.7 metre cord, and net weight is 67.5kg.
