The Epson CO-W01 uses 3LCD technology to deliver 3,000 lumens of both colour and white brightness, producing a clear, vivid image across a wide range of lighting conditions. At WXGA resolution (1280 x 800), it supports a 16:10 aspect ratio and can project a widescreen image anywhere from 33 to 378 inches diagonal, with a practical throw distance of 0.9 m to 10.4 m.

Long Lamp Life and Eco Operation:

The UHE lamp runs for up to 6,000 hours in Normal mode and up to 12,000 hours in Eco mode, which equates to roughly 18 years based on watching one film per day. Eco mode also reduces noise output to 29 dB(A) and cuts power consumption to 214 W, compared to 270 W at peak. Epson's Instant Off technology means there is no cool-down period after use, so the unit can be packed away immediately.

Straightforward Connectivity and Setup:

The CO-W01 connects via an HDMI 1.4 port and includes a USB-A port alongside a USB Type-B service port. Automatic vertical keystone correction (±30°) and manual horizontal keystone correction (±30°) reduce setup time, and the SizeWise chip automatically resizes incoming computer signals to fit the projected image. A built-in 5W monaural speaker removes the need for a separate audio device in most everyday situations.

Portable Enough for Regular Use:

Setup and Care

Positioning the Projector:

Place the CO-W01 on a stable, flat surface between 0.9 m and 10.4 m from your screen or wall. The unit supports front and rear desktop placement as well as ceiling mounting in both front and rear configurations. Adjust the front feet to set the vertical angle before focusing the image manually using the focus ring.

Keystone and Image Adjustment:

Automatic vertical keystone correction (±30°) activates on startup to straighten the image when the projector is positioned at an angle. Manual horizontal keystone correction (±30°) allows further fine-tuning. Use Quick Corner for independent four-corner geometric correction when the projection surface is irregular.

Lamp and Ventilation Care:

Allow the lamp to cool fully before moving the unit - or use the Instant Off feature, which removes the cool-down requirement entirely. Keep the air vents clear of obstructions during use and clean the filter periodically using a soft brush or low-power vacuum to maintain airflow and lamp performance.

Storage and Transport:

At 2.4 kg and 295 x 211 x 87 mm, the CO-W01 is straightforward to transport in a padded bag or backpack. Store in a dry environment between 10% and 90% relative humidity and avoid exposing the lens to direct sunlight for extended periods.
