The 1.2m height is practical for tomatoes, dahlias, delphiniums, peppers, sweet peas, and other plants that grow beyond the reach of shorter 90cm canes. Group several canes together in a wigwam or teepee arrangement for runner beans, climbing peas, and other vertical growers.
