Setup and Care

Assembly, hose connection, and first use:

Assemble the handle and wheels as directed in the manual. Click the 10m PremiumFlex hose into the pressure washer outlet using the Quick Connect fitting, and attach the other end to the high-pressure gun. Connect the garden hose adapter to your mains water supply via a standard garden hose. Select the eco!Booster or dirt blaster lance depending on the surface and cleaning task. Turn on the water supply, then switch on the machine and squeeze the gun trigger to begin cleaning.

Selecting the right lance for each surface:

Use the eco!Booster lance for everyday cleaning on cars, garden furniture, painted surfaces, fences, and softer timber where 50% increased cleaning efficiency saves time and water. Switch to the dirt blaster lance for heavy-duty tasks on concrete, block paving, stone patios, driveways, and walls where stubborn moss, algae, and ground-in grime require maximum concentrated pressure. To apply detergent, connect the suction hose and switch to a low-pressure setting for even distribution before rinsing at higher pressure.

Using warm water and detergent for enhanced cleaning:

The K 7 accepts water feed temperatures up to 60°C, which improves cleaning performance on greasy, oily, and fatty surfaces such as BBQ areas, garage floors, and workshop spaces. Apply Kärcher cleaning agents via the suction hose for specific tasks: vehicle shampoo for cars, stone and facade cleaner for walls and patios, and wood cleaner for decking and timber.

After use and seasonal storage:

After each use, run clean water through the system for 30 seconds to flush any detergent residue. Disconnect the hoses and trigger the gun to release residual pressure. Store all accessories on the machine using the on-board storage. The integrated water filter should be inspected and cleaned periodically to remove trapped debris. Before winter storage, run all water out of the pump and hoses to prevent frost damage. Store in a dry, frost-free location such as a garage or shed.
