Setup and Care

Initial setup and attachment fitting:

Remove all packaging and wash the stainless steel bowl, dough hook, flat beater, and whisk in warm soapy water before first use. Dry thoroughly. Place the mixer on a flat, stable work surface. Attach the desired accessory to the planetary drive head and lock into position. Place the bowl on the base and ensure it clicks securely into the bowl mount.

Selecting speed and adding ingredients:

Start on a low speed when combining dry and wet ingredients to prevent splashing, then increase speed as the mixture comes together. Use the splash guard lid to contain ingredients during mixing, and add additional ingredients through the fill-in window. The Security Check System will prevent the motor from starting unless the head is fully lowered and locked.

Switching between functions and attachments:

Use the dough hook for bread, pizza, and pasta doughs. Switch to the flat beater for cake batters, cookie doughs, sauces, and emulsions. Use the stainless steel whisk for whipping cream, beating egg whites, and preparing meringues. Always stop the motor and wait for the attachment to stop before switching. Lift the head to remove and swap attachments.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Wash all stainless steel attachments and the bowl in the dishwasher or by hand in warm soapy water after each use. Wipe the motor body with a soft, damp cloth only. Keep the ventilation openings clear of flour dust and debris. Store with the splash guard in place to protect the bowl from dust between uses.
