Dreame L50 Ultra AE Robot Vacuum and Mop with 28,000 Pa Vormax Suction, 100°C Mop Washing and Auto-Emptying PowerDock

28,000 Pa Vormax suction and the TriCut Brush 3.0 handle hair, dust and daily debris in one pass: Vormax suction pulls fine dust out of hard floor gaps and lifts embedded grit from carpet pile. The TriCut Brush 3.0 carries an integrated blade that cuts long hair and pet fur as it is drawn in, so strands go into the dust box instead of winding around the roller and needing to be cut free by hand. Operating noise is rated at 75dB.

Dual Flex Arm Technology adds 40mm of reach for edges, corners and skirting boards: The side brush swings outward when the robot detects a wall or corner, sweeping debris into the suction path rather than leaving a dirty border. The mop pad extends on the same principle, pushing out to reach along skirting boards, around furniture legs and into corners that fixed-pad robots never touch. Both retract for normal open-floor cleaning.

Mop pads lift 10.5mm on carpet so rugs stay dry while hard floors get mopped: The robot detects carpet and raises both rotating pads clear of the pile, letting a single run cover tile, wood and rugs without you moving anything or splitting the job into two cleans.

100°C ThermoHub washing and the AceClean DryBoard keep the pads genuinely clean: The PowerDock washes the mop pads against a heated washboard at 100°C, with 20 nozzles distributing water evenly across the full pad surface rather than rinsing only the centre. Hot air drying follows, so the pads are dry before the next cycle and the dock does not develop the musty smell associated with cold-rinse stations.

PowerDock runs up to 100 days hands-free with auto-empty, auto-refill and solution dosing: The robot empties its 250ml dust box into a 3.2L sealed bag in the dock after each clean, which holds up to 100 days of debris for a typical home. A 4.5L clean water tank refills the robot automatically and a 4.0L waste tank collects the dirty water. Setup and Care

Dock placement: The PowerDock measures 457 x 340 x 590mm, so check the space before you commit to a spot. Place it on hard, level floor against a wall, near a socket and ideally somewhere convenient for emptying the waste water tank. Leave clear space either side and in front so the robot can dock reliably. Fit the supplied ramp extension plate as instructed. Fill the 4.5L clean water tank and add the floor cleaning solution to the dispenser, then charge the robot fully before the first run.

First map and app setup: Download the Dreamehome app, create an account and pair the robot. Let it complete a full mapping run with doors open and cables, toys and pet bowls cleared out of the way - a clean first map saves a lot of correcting later. Once mapping finishes you can name rooms, draw no-go zones, set suction and water levels per room and build a schedule. Multi-floor mapping means you can save an upstairs map as well and carry the robot between levels.

Routine maintenance: The dock handles emptying, washing and drying, so day-to-day upkeep is light. Empty the 4.0L waste water tank and top up the 4.5L clean water tank as the app prompts, typically weekly. Replace the 3.2L dust bag when the app flags it, up to around 100 days for a typical home. Check the TriCut brush and side brush monthly and clear any debris from the wheels and sensors. Wipe the LiDAR turret with a soft dry cloth so mapping stays accurate. Replace mop pads when they stop scrubbing cleanly.

Getting the best results: The robot clears obstacles up to 20mm, so raised thresholds above that height should be dealt with by leaving doors open, using the ramp extension plate at the dock, or splitting the home into separate saved maps per level. Run a quick tidy of shoes, cables and loose rugs before a scheduled clean to keep runs uninterrupted. For dried-on marks, a second mopping pass works better than a single slow one. Keep the app updated so you get new firmware features as Dreame releases them.
