The bifold design folds the panel in half for compact transport and storage. Setup and Care

Unfolding, positioning, and kickstand adjustment:

Unfold the bifold panel and extend the two adjustable kickstands on the rear. Position the panel facing direct sunlight at a perpendicular angle for maximum energy capture. Adjust the kickstand angle as the sun moves throughout the day. Avoid partial shading: even a small shadow across one section of the panel reduces output significantly. The kickstands hold the panel securely on grass, gravel, concrete, sand, and uneven surfaces.

Charging devices directly via USB:

Plug your smartphone, tablet, or USB device into the USB-A or USB-C port on the panel's junction box. Charging begins automatically when sufficient sunlight is available. Under optimal conditions (direct sunlight, clear sky, panel perpendicular to sun), the 100W output charges devices significantly faster than smaller panels. Charging speed will vary with cloud cover, panel angle, and time of day.

Charging Jackery power stations via DC8020:

Connect the DC8020 cable to a compatible Jackery Explorer power station. The power station stores the solar energy for use after dark, during cloudy periods, or indoors. The 100W output provides noticeably faster power station charging times than the 40W Mini panel. For the fastest charging, position the panel in full, unobstructed sunlight and check the connection is secure before leaving.

Cleaning, storage, and weather care:

Wipe the panel surface with a soft damp cloth to remove dust, pollen, bird droppings, and debris that reduce solar efficiency. The IP68 rating protects the panel during rain and splashes. Fold the panel and store in a dry location away from direct heat when not in use. Avoid folding or creasing the panel beyond the designed fold line. Inspect the cables and connector for damage before each use.
