EasyFix floor cleaning system:

The EasyFix floor tool features a flexible joint for reaching into corners and angles, combined with lamella technology for consistent contact across all types of hard floor surfaces including tiles, stone, laminate, and sealed wood. The hook-and-loop microfibre floor cloth attaches and detaches without any contact with dirt, so there is no need to handle a soiled cloth directly. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fill the tank with up to 200 ml of tap water using the integrated filling funnel and measuring cup provided. Plug in and allow 3 minutes for the machine to reach operating temperature before use. Attach the desired nozzle or floor tool and begin cleaning at maximum steam level for best results on stubborn dirt or bacteria removal.

Choosing the right attachment:

Use the EasyFix floor tool with the microfibre floor cloth for hard floor surfaces including tiles, laminate, stone, and sealed wood. The hand nozzle and detail nozzle are suited to taps, shower fittings, oven interiors, and grout lines. The power nozzle and small round brush work well on hobs, stubborn limescale, and bathroom surfaces. The two extension tubes adjust working height when using the hand nozzle upright.

Cloth care and hygiene:

Remove the microfibre floor cloth using the hook-and-loop system to avoid direct contact with dirt. Wash the microfibre cloth after each use in a washing machine at up to 60°C. Rinse the nozzle covers and brush attachments under warm water and allow to dry fully before storage. Do not use descaling chemicals or detergents in the water tank.

Storage and maintenance:

Allow the machine to cool fully before storing. Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use to prevent mineral build-up. Store the SC 1 EasyFix in a dry location with all accessories assembled for compact storage. Descale the tank periodically using Kärcher's recommended descaling tablet if hard water mineral deposits are visible.
