Setup and Care

Getting started:

Attach the stand using the included screws before placing the TV on your unit - the stand width is 942 mm so allow adequate surface space. Connect the power cable, switch on, and follow the on-screen webOS setup wizard to connect to Wi-Fi, sign into your streaming accounts, and pair the AI Magic Remote. The AI Magic Remote requires 2 x AA batteries, which are included in the box.

Wall mounting:

The VESA mounting pattern is 300 x 200 mm. Use a compatible wall bracket rated for a minimum of 8.3 kg and ensure the wall fixings are appropriate for your wall type. LG recommends professional installation for wall mounting to maintain the warranty and ensure safe placement.

Picture and sound settings:

For everyday viewing, the AI Picture Pro mode will automatically adjust brightness, contrast, and colour to suit room lighting and content type. For the most accurate cinema experience, activate FILMMAKER MODE, which disables motion smoothing and presents content at the original frame rate, colour grading, and aspect ratio intended by the production team.

Keeping the screen clean:

Switch the TV off and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, dry microfibre cloth and wipe gently in one direction to remove dust and smudges from the panel surface. Avoid spray cleaners, window cleaning products, or abrasive cloths, as these can damage the screen coating.
