The LiDAX Ultra 800 sets itself up without burying a single boundary wire or installing RTK base stations. UltraView™ 2.0 uses 360° 3D LiDAR combined with AI vision to build a centimetre-accurate map of your garden in minutes, then navigates every session independently. It handles narrow passages of 60 cm or wider, vertical obstacles up to 4 cm high, and slopes up to 45%, with rear-wheel drive and off-road wheels providing reliable traction across uneven terrain.

Precise edge cutting with UltraTrim™ 1.0:

The movable disc system cuts within 5 cm of walls, hedges, and raised borders, and the mower rides along edges to deliver flush lawn-to-pavement cuts. Cutting height is electronically adjustable between 3 cm and 10 cm via the MOVAhome app, covering anything from a short formal lawn to a longer naturalistic finish. U-Shape Path Planning ensures systematic, overlap-free coverage rather than a random pattern, and operates at a quiet 57 dB.

Intelligent zone and schedule management:

The MOVAhome app (iOS and Android) lets you divide your garden into up to 150 managed zones, each with its own schedule, cutting height, and mowing direction. All-weather operation and mulching:

IPX6 waterproofing protects the electronics from heavy rain and allows the exterior and underside to be rinsed clean. Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the charging station on a flat, sheltered area with access to a mains socket and at least 1 m of clear space in front. Download the MOVAhome app, connect the mower to your home Wi-Fi via Bluetooth, and follow the in-app mapping guide. UltraView™ 2.0 builds a centimetre-accurate map of your garden automatically - no wire laying or RTK station installation required.

Scheduling and zones:

Use the MOVAhome app to divide your garden into zones, assign mowing schedules, set cutting heights between 3 cm and 10 cm, and choose a mowing direction for each area. The rain sensor handles weather interruptions automatically, returning the mower to base and resuming when conditions improve. All settings sync to the mower over Wi-Fi.

Cleaning and blade care:

The IPX6 rating means the exterior and underside can be rinsed with water after mowing - use the included cleaning brush to clear any compacted debris from the disc area. Inspect the MBKM10 blade disc periodically and replace blades using the included spare set and hex key when edges show wear. Keep the LiDAR sensor dome clear of dust and debris for accurate detection.

Storage:

The LiDAX Ultra 800 is designed to live outdoors at its charging station year-round in typical Irish weather, returning to base automatically between sessions. For extended winter storage, park the mower on the base plate in a dry location, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%), and fit the LiDAR protective cover. Bring the power supply indoors if temperatures are expected to drop significantly below freezing.
