Setup and Care

Installation, levelling, and Wi-Fi connection:

Remove all transit bolts before first use (retain for future transportation). Position on a flat, level surface near a cold water supply, drain point, and mains socket. Adjust feet until perfectly level. Connect inlet hose to cold water tap and route drain hose to drain point. Download the free hOn app and follow the in-app prompts to connect the washing machine to your home Wi-Fi network. Register within 28 days to activate the 10-year parts guarantee.

First wash and programme selection:

Run a Cottons 60°C cycle without laundry before first use to clean the drum and internal components. Select programmes using the dial, then adjust temperature, spin speed, and additional functions as needed. Use KG Mode Plus for automatic load optimisation, or select the All In One 59 minute cycle for mixed fabrics and colours in a single wash.

Using Steam, Allergy Care Pro, and Scan to Care:

Activate the Steam function to infuse steam at the end of the cycle for crease reduction and garment freshening. Select Allergy Care Pro for a thorough high-temperature wash with extended rinsing to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and allergens. Use the Scan to Care feature in the hOn app to scan garment care labels with your phone camera and receive an automatic programme recommendation.

Cleaning and long-term maintenance:

Run the Drum Clean maintenance cycle monthly without laundry to prevent odour and residue build-up. Clean the detergent drawer and door seal regularly with a damp cloth. Check and clean the pump filter periodically to prevent blockages. Leave the door slightly open after each wash to allow the drum and seal to dry, preventing mould growth. The ECO-Power Inverter Motor requires no brush replacement.
