IndyFlex technology merges zones for flexible cooking:

The four induction zones include two IndyFlex flexible zones that merge seamlessly into larger cooking areas to accommodate oversized pans, griddle plates, and roasting trays. Use all four zones independently for multiple pots and pans, or combine two zones into one larger surface for bigger cookware. Each zone delivers 2200W at standard output or 3100W in Boost mode for rapid heating and high-temperature searing. Special induction coil design ensures heat distribution extends across the full surface of the merged zone.

Slider Direct Access Control with 9 power levels per zone:

Setup and Care

Professional installation and electrical requirements:

This hob requires hardwiring to a 32A electrical supply by a qualified electrician. The integrated vented extractor requires ducting to an external wall or roof vent. Ensure the cabinet cutout matches the dimensions specified in the installation template. Allow adequate clearance beneath the hob for the extractor motor and ducting. Professional installation is required for both the electrical connection and the ducting work.

First use and cookware compatibility:

Before first use, clean the glass-ceramic surface with a soft damp cloth. Induction hobs require magnetic-based cookware: cast iron, steel, and magnetic stainless steel pans will work. Non-magnetic cookware such as aluminium, copper, and glass pans will not be detected by the induction zones. Test your existing pans by holding a magnet to the base: if it sticks, the pan is induction compatible.

Using IndyFlex zones and Slider Direct Access controls:

To use IndyFlex, activate the merge function via the touch controls to combine two adjacent zones into one larger cooking surface. Place a large pan, griddle, or roasting tray across the merged area. Use the Slider Direct Access control for each zone to set and adjust power levels from 1 to 9 or activate Boost for rapid heating. The extractor speed adjusts via the extractor controls, or activate Intensive Ventilation during high-heat cooking.

Cleaning the glass surface and extractor filters:

Allow the hob to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe the glass-ceramic surface with a soft, damp cloth or a specialist hob cleaner. Remove burnt-on residue with a ceramic hob scraper held at a 30-degree angle. Remove the grease filters and place in the dishwasher on a regular cycle. Replace filters in the extractor housing once fully dry. Clean the extractor intake area periodically to maintain optimal suction performance.
