Dulux AquaMax Wood and Metal Satinwood uses the AquaMax formula to deliver a durable mid-sheen finish on both interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces. The water-based formulation produces fewer VOCs than traditional solvent-based satinwood paints, making it a practical choice for painting in occupied or enclosed spaces such as hallways, kitchens, and living rooms.

Coverage and finish that does the job properly:

Each litre covers up to 18m², meaning a 5-litre tin treats up to 90m² of surface area in two coats - enough for doors, skirting boards, window frames, banisters, and metal railings in a typical home. The Pure Brilliant White shade gives a bright, non-yellowing finish that remains true in colour over time.

Fast drying and straightforward to apply:

The paint is touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable in just 2-4 hours, so a second coat can follow the same day. It can be applied by brush, roller, conventional spray, or airless spray. Thinning is not usually necessary, but up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint can be added if required. Do not apply below 7°C or where rain, fog, or frost is likely.
