At over 40 cm long and 18 cm wide when complete, it is built to sit on a shelf or desk as a display piece. Working mechanical features throughout:

The model includes a V8 engine with a chain-driven compressor and rear-wheel drive via a cardan shaft with differential. Independent front suspension, rear suspension, and steering controlled by a knob at the back of the vehicle are all functional in the finished model. No batteries or motorised components are required - every function is mechanical.

Film-accurate finishing details:

Two NOS bottles and a fire extinguisher are included to complete the look of Toretto's car as it appears on screen. New parts for this set include wider rear tyres, a new 5-spoke wheel in metallic silver, and 2x2 corner panels used for the grille, giving the model improved proportions compared to earlier LEGO Charger sets.
