The Union StrongBOLT 2100S is Kitemarked to BS3621:2007, meeting the requirements of insurance companies and the Secured by Design police initiative. The 20mm chamfered deadbolt resists side-load attack, and hardened steel rollers and drill plates protect against sawing and drilling. Anti-pick keyhole protection completes the security specification.
Retro-fit design with 45mm backset for timber doors up to 54mm:
The radius inner forend installs into many existing UK mortice pockets without additional carpentry or damage to the door edge. The 68mm (2.5 inch) case and 45mm backset suit standard front and rear doors. Non-handed, fitting doors hinged left or right. Also Certifire approved and 1 hour fire tested on timber doors.
