This is the major appliance side of the kitchen, the machines that get built in or plumbed in rather than plugged in on a worktop. Refrigeration is the largest part, spanning undercounter and tall larder fridges, 50/50, 60/40 and 70/30 fridge freezers, American style side-by-side and multi door models, tall freezers and mini fridges, in freestanding and integrated versions. Cooking covers built in single and double ovens, gas, ceramic and induction hobs in 60cm and 75cm widths, and cooker hoods. Dishwashers run from 13 to 14 place settings, freestanding, fully integrated and WiFi enabled. Two measurements decide almost every purchase: the aperture height and width for anything integrated, and the door swing clearance for anything freestanding, so measure before shortlisting rather than after.
