Setup and Care

Installation and door panel fitting:

This is a fully integrated freezer designed for in-column installation behind a tall kitchen cabinet door panel. Professional installation is recommended. The sliding hinge system allows the kitchen door to open in sync with the freezer door. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit as specified in the installation manual.

First use and Fast Freeze:

Allow the freezer to reach operating temperature for at least 4 hours before loading food. Use the Fast Freeze function when adding a large quantity of fresh food to rapidly lower the internal temperature and protect items already stored inside.

Food Protector for garage and outbuilding installation:

If installing in a garage, utility room, or unheated outbuilding, ensure the location is dry and has a stable power supply. Food Protector Technology keeps the freezer operating correctly in ambient temperatures as low as -15°C. Check the door seal regularly in cold locations to maintain efficiency.

Cleaning and maintenance:

No manual defrosting is required thanks to the No Frost system. Wipe interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent periodically. Clean the door seal with a damp cloth to maintain a tight seal. Check and clear the drainage outlet at the rear of the freezer if water collects at the base of the compartment.
