DJI
DJI builds four distinct kinds of kit, and knowing which one you actually need saves a lot of cross-shopping. Aerial covers the drones, from compact airframes that launch from the hand up to larger-sensor aircraft for photography and video work. Ground capture splits two ways: rugged action cameras that mount to a helmet, chest or handlebar, and gimbal-stabilised pocket cameras built for handheld filming with a screen you can see yourself in. Then there is stabilisation for the phone you already own, and wireless audio to fix the weakest part of almost every clip. The five sections below break the range down that way. Combo naming is consistent across all of it: a standard listing gives you the unit on its own, while a Fly More, Adventure or Creator Combo adds spare batteries, mounts and accessories in the box. For cross-brand comparison in the same categories see Drones, Vlog Cameras, Phone Gimbals and Wireless Microphones.
DJI Drones
The range ladders by size and sensor. Neo and Flip sit at the compact end, Neo as a single aircraft, a Fly More Combo Kit or the Neo 2 supplied as drone only, and Flip as a standard aircraft or a combo with DJI RC 2. The Mini line is the broadest, running from the Mini 4K through three Mini 4 Pro configurations to the Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo, and the Mavic 4 Pro tops the range. Avata 2 and Avata 360 cover first-person view flying with goggles and motion control. The full aerial range sits at DJI Drones, with reductions at Drones Sale.
DJI Action Cameras
Three formats sit here. The Osmo Action 5 Pro is the conventional forward-facing camera, the one that mounts and takes knocks, stocked as a Standard Combo or an Adventure Combo. The Osmo 360 captures the whole sphere in one pass so framing is chosen afterwards in the app, which suits mounts where the angle cannot be controlled, and it comes in both combo tiers as well. The Osmo Nano Standard Combo takes the compact route with 128GB of storage on board, so no card is needed to start shooting. Battery count is the real difference between the two combo tiers, and run time is what actually ends a shoot. See DJI Action Cameras.
DJI Osmo Pocket Cameras
Pocket cameras pair a 1-inch sensor with a three-axis mechanical gimbal, so the lens is physically held level rather than the frame being cropped to fake it. The rotating two-inch touchscreen flips between landscape and vertical without a rig, which matters when one clip has to work on a widescreen edit and a phone feed. The Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo records up to 4K at 240 frames per second with 107GB on board and ships with a Mic 3 transmitter, wide-angle lens, fill light and mini tripod. The Osmo Pocket 3 comes as a standalone camera or a Creator Combo. Both are at DJI Osmo Pocket Cameras.
DJI Gimbals
These are smartphone gimbals, for the handset you already carry. Motors hold the phone level across three axes so a walking shot or a slow reveal comes out smooth at full resolution, rather than losing pixels to software cropping. Subject tracking keeps you framed while you move, which is what makes filming on your own workable at all. Three Osmo Mobile models are stocked: the Osmo Mobile 8 as the current generation, with the Osmo Mobile 7P Pro and Osmo Mobile 7 below it, both in Dark Grey. Balance the handset in the clamp before switching on, or the motors will hunt visibly on camera. See DJI Gimbals.
DJI Microphones
Audio is usually the weakest part of a clip, because the microphone built into a camera or phone sits metres from the speaker. A wireless system moves it onto the person instead. Transmitter and receiver count is the specification that decides everything: a two-transmitter, one-receiver kit records two people on separate channels, which is what an interview or a piece to camera with a guest needs. Mic 3 and Mic 2 both ship as two transmitters, one receiver and a charging case, the Mic Mini covers the compact end, and the Lavalier Mic is the wired add-on. Transmitters connect straight to the Osmo Pocket bodies over OsmoAudio. See DJI Microphones.
