The Osmo Mobile 8 connects directly to your phone via USB-C, enabling intelligent tracking within your phone's own camera app - no third-party software required. Apple DockKit compatibility extends tracking to over 200 iOS applications, while Android users benefit from native integration too. A new pan axis status indicator provides real-time tracking feedback at a glance.

Multifunctional Module with fill light, pet tracking and wireless mic receiver:

The included Multifunctional Module clips to the side of the phone clamp and adds an adjustable fill light (8 brightness levels, 2500-6000K colour temperature), upgraded pet tracking for cats and dogs, and a wireless microphone receiver compatible with the DJI Mic range. When tracking is active with the module in use, the battery provides up to 5 hours of run time.

Built-in extension rod, tripod and phone charging for all-day shooting:

The telescoping extension rod extends up to 215mm for wider selfie shots and group content without needing extra gear. The built-in plastic tripod handles stable, hands-free shooting on flat surfaces. The roll axis includes a USB-C output port that charges your phone directly from the gimbal's 3350mAh battery while you film. A counterweight mounting hole on the roll axis helps balance phones with large camera modules or accessories.

Folds to near-pocket size and auto-powers on when unfolded:

The Osmo Mobile 8 folds to 190 x 95 x 46mm - small enough to slip into a coat pocket or bag. It powers on automatically when unfolded and shuts off cleanly when folded back down.
