Vlog Cameras

Action cameras and pocket gimbal cameras solve different filming problems, and the right choice depends on where the camera needs to go. A rugged, waterproof action camera is built to be mounted on a helmet, a bike or a board and to survive being dropped or dunked, which makes it the choice for sport and adventure footage. A pocket camera with a built-in gimbal is built to be held rather than mounted, and the mechanical stabilisation is what keeps walking or talking-to-camera footage smooth without a separate rig. 360-degree cameras capture everything around the shooter at once, leaving the framing to be chosen afterwards in the app, which suits fast-moving or unpredictable scenes where there is no time to compose a shot in the moment.

GoPro covers action cameras through the HERO13 and 360-degree capture through the GoPro Max, built for durability and stabilisation in extreme conditions. DJI spans the Osmo Action range, the gimbal-stabilised Osmo Pocket 3 for handheld vlogging, and the Osmo 360 and Osmo Nano for full-scene capture. Also stocked is a Rollei retro-style digital camera.
