The LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery is rated for 4,000 charge cycles while retaining 80% of its original capacity, which DJI equates to approximately 10 years of regular use. Solar input of up to 1,800W is also supported for off-grid recharging.

The dedicated SDC Super Fast Charging port charges a DJI Air 3 Series battery from 10% to 95% in approximately 30 minutes, without needing a separate charger. Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Download the DJI Home app on iOS or Android and connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to complete initial setup. The app lets you configure charge limits, output settings, and auto-off timers from your phone.

Charging the Unit:

Connect the included AC power cable to a standard mains socket for the fastest recharge. For grid fast-charging at 1,440W, ensure the battery is above 60% and the ambient temperature is between 20°C and 35°C. Solar panels and car chargers are available separately for off-grid recharging.

Using the Power Station:

The four AC outlets support devices drawing up to 2,600W combined. The unit automatically enters UPS mode when a mains connection is detected, switching to battery output in under 10 ms if the supply is interrupted. The auto-off function turns the unit off after 30 minutes of no detected output; this can be adjusted or disabled via the DJI Home app.

Storage and Long-Term Care:

Store the unit at room temperature in a dry location. The LFP chemistry is stable during long-term storage and does not require the same precise charge-level management as some other battery types. DJI recommends a periodic top-up charge if the unit is stored unused for extended periods.
