Each Mic Mini 2 transmitter weighs just 11 grams and records omnidirectional audio at 48 kHz and 24-bit depth across a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Three on-device voice tone presets - Regular, Rich, and Bright - let you shape the sound in-hardware without any post-production work, while automatic limiting helps prevent clipping even in loud environments.

Two-level noise cancellation and flexible gain control:

The Mic Mini 2 offers two levels of active noise cancellation - Basic for quieter indoor spaces and Strong for noisier outdoor locations - adjustable directly on the transmitter. Five levels of gain adjustment give you precise control over input levels, and dual-track recording is available via the DJI Mimo app for added flexibility in the edit.

Long battery life with fast charging:

Each transmitter runs for up to 11.5 hours and the receiver for up to 10.5 hours per charge. The included charging case extends total operating time to up to 48 hours, and five minutes of charging delivers approximately one hour of use - practical for creators working to tight schedules.

Wide wireless range and DJI ecosystem compatibility:

The Mic Mini 2 transmits up to 400 metres when paired with the DJI Mic Mini Receiver, and up to 300 metres with a mobile receiver. Via DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection, up to two transmitters can link directly to the Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 6 without requiring a separate receiver. The receiver is also backward-compatible with original DJI Mic Mini transmitters, and the new transmitters work with the existing DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Remove each transmitter and the receiver from the charging case. The transmitters pair automatically with the included receiver when both are powered on. Download the DJI Mimo app on your iOS or Android device to access dual-track recording, noise cancellation settings, and gain adjustment.

Attaching the transmitter:

Use the included magnetic clip to attach a transmitter to clothing, positioning it approximately 20 cm from the mouth for consistent audio pickup. The interchangeable magnetic front covers can be swapped by peeling the active cover away and pressing the replacement firmly into place.

Connecting to your camera or phone:

Connect the receiver to your camera using the included 3.5 mm TRS cable, or to a smartphone using the USB-C adapter. For compatible DJI Osmo devices, DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection allows the transmitters to pair without any receiver hardware.

Charging and storage:

Return the transmitters and receiver to the charging case after use to keep them topped up between sessions. Charge the case itself via its USB-C port; a full case charge takes approximately two hours. Store the units in the case in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
