The Px7 S2 features custom-designed 40mm dynamic drivers built with bio-cellulose diaphragms, a material chosen for its natural stiffness-to-weight ratio that delivers detailed, natural sound reproduction across the full frequency range. The drivers are precision angled within each earcup to direct sound accurately towards the ear canal. Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive codec streams 24-bit audio wirelessly, preserving the detail and dynamics of high-resolution music from compatible devices. Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation with 6 microphones:

The USB-C port handles both charging and wired audio playback. Two cables are included: a USB-C to USB-C charging/audio cable and a USB-C to 3.5mm stereo jack adaptor for connecting to analogue headphone outputs on aircraft seats, older devices, and hi-fi systems.

Wear Detection, Music app, and memory foam comfort:

Setup and Care

Charging and Bluetooth pairing:

Charge the headphones fully via USB-C before first use. Slide the power switch to the upper position and hold for 5 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2 from your device's Bluetooth settings to pair. Download the free Bowers and Wilkins Music app on iOS or Android for access to EQ settings, ANC modes, wear sensor configuration, and integrated music streaming.

Selecting ANC, Pass-Through, and Wear Detection:

Use the B&W Music app or the physical button on the left earcup to cycle between ANC on, Ambient Pass-Through, and ANC off. Adjust the wear sensor sensitivity in the app if auto-pause is too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Configure the bass and treble EQ to suit your music preference.

Using wired connections for analogue and digital sources:

Connect the USB-C to 3.5mm cable for analogue audio from aircraft seats, older MP3 players, and hi-fi headphone outputs. Connect the USB-C to USB-C cable for digital audio from computers and compatible devices. Wired connections bypass Bluetooth and can provide higher-quality audio from suitable sources.

Care and storage:

Store the headphones in the hard-shell carry case when not in use to protect from damage and dust. The earcups fold flat for compact case storage. Wipe the earpads and headband with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture. Keep the USB-C port clear of dust and debris. Charge the battery periodically even when not in regular use to maintain battery health.
