Two wireless modes, one headset:

The HS55 Wireless connects over 2.4GHz radio frequency for low-latency gaming audio at ranges of up to 50 feet (approximately 15 metres), and switches to Bluetooth 5.2 for mobile or secondary device use. Both connections are available without changing headsets or cables, making it straightforward to move between a gaming PC and a phone.

Battery life built around longer sessions:

In 2.4GHz wireless mode, the HS55 Wireless delivers up to 24 hours of playback on a full charge. Bluetooth mode extends that figure to up to 37 hours. A 15-minute top-up over USB-C provides around 6 hours of use, and a full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

50mm drivers and Dolby Audio 7.1:

The headset uses 50mm custom-tuned drivers with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and a sensitivity of 114dB. Dolby Audio 7.1 virtual surround sound is available on PC and Mac via CORSAIR iCUE software, which also allows custom equaliser settings, sidetone adjustment, and NVIDIA Broadcast integration for voice clarity.

Microphone and comfort for extended wear:

An omni-directional boom microphone with a frequency response of 100Hz to 10kHz mutes physically when flipped upward - no button press needed. The headset weighs 274g and uses memory foam ear pads with a leatherette finish for extended wear comfort during longer gaming sessions.

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Plug the USB wireless transmitter into a USB port on your PC or PlayStation console. The headset pairs automatically with the receiver. For Bluetooth use, hold the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode and connect via your device's Bluetooth settings.

Using iCUE software:

Download CORSAIR iCUE on PC or Mac to access Dolby Audio 7.1 virtual surround sound, custom equaliser presets, sidetone volume adjustment, and NVIDIA Broadcast microphone enhancement. iCUE is optional - the headset works without it on all compatible platforms.

Charging the headset:

Connect the supplied USB-C cable to charge. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour. For the best long-term battery performance, avoid storing the headset fully discharged for extended periods.

Caring for the ear pads:

Wipe the memory foam ear pads with a lightly dampened cloth to remove surface dust or oils. Avoid submerging or using harsh cleaning agents on the ear pad material.
