The Edision DVB-T2 Receiver is compatible with Saorview in the Republic of Ireland and Freeview HD in Northern Ireland, allowing you to access a wide range of digital TV channels. Whether you're in Ireland or Northern Ireland, this receiver has you covered.

This receiver is fully DVB-T2, MEPG-2/4 H.264 HD/SD compliant, ensuring that it supports the latest digital TV standards and is capable of handling high-definition content. With compatibility for video formats such as 576p, 720p, and 1080p, you can enjoy stunning visuals on your television.

Connectivity options include an HDMI output and a SCART output. The HDMI port provides the best quality output, ideal for high-definition TVs. If you don't have an HDMI port available, you can still connect your TV using the SCART output. The receiver also features subtitles, which can be disabled permanently through the menu settings.

With a 7-day Electronic Program Guide (EPG), you can plan your viewing schedule in advance and never miss your favourite shows. While the Irish Digital Teletext feature is not available, the receiver compensates with other impressive functionalities.

The receiver is PVR (Personal Video Recorder) ready, allowing you to record TV programs directly to a USB device through the USB 2.0 port. You can also enjoy multimedia playback by connecting a USB device to the same port, supporting various file formats such as MP3, JPEG, BMP, AVI, DivX, VOB, and MKV.

Whether you have a high-definition or standard-definition TV, this receiver caters to both. With the HDMI port, you can enjoy HD content on compatible TVs, while the SCART output allows you to connect to standard-definition TVs. Additionally, the receiver offers a down-scale facility, enabling you to receive HD broadcasts, such as RTE2 HD, on a standard-definition TV via the SCART input.
