Setup and Care

Getting started:

The HFP4C7E0A-80 is a freestanding, cold-fill-only dishwasher. Connect the supply hose to your cold water tap and route the drainage pipe to your kitchen standpipe or under-sink waste. The adjustable feet allow you to level the machine on uneven kitchen floors before first use.

First use and salt/rinse aid:

Fill the salt reservoir with dishwasher salt before running your first cycle - the salt indicator light will remind you when levels are low. Add rinse aid to the dispenser to support drying performance, particularly alongside the Auto Open Door function. Refer to the user manual for recommended quantities based on your local water hardness.

App registration and warranty activation:

Download the hOn app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei AppGallery to connect the dishwasher to your home Wi-Fi. To activate the 10-year parts warranty, register at service.hoover.co.uk/register/ or call 0800 479 0764 within 28 days of delivery.

Ongoing care:

Clean the filter assembly at the base of the tub regularly to maintain wash performance - remove, rinse under running water, and refit. Wipe the door seal with a damp cloth periodically. Run a dishwasher cleaner cycle every few months to keep the interior fresh and the spray arms clear.
