A Reliable Matt Finish for Trade and DIY Projects:

Leyland Trade Contract Matt is a water-based emulsion formulated to deliver a flat, non-reflective matt finish on interior walls and ceilings. It is particularly well suited to new plasterwork and is widely used on new builds, rental refreshes, and commercial fit-outs where a clean, neutral brilliant white result is required quickly and economically.

Good Coverage and a Fast Recoat Window:

Each litre covers approximately 13 m², giving a full 10L tub a total coverage of around 130 m² over two coats. The paint becomes touch-dry within 1 to 2 hours and is ready for a second coat in as little as 2 to 4 hours, keeping project timelines on track. Two coats are recommended for best results.

Broad Substrate Compatibility:

Contract Matt can be applied to aged and new interior plaster, embossed wallcoverings, wallboards, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork, and blockwork. It is suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, and dining rooms, as well as commercial environments such as offices, schools, and hospitals. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C.

Low VOC Formula:

The formula contains just 3 g/L of volatile organic compounds, placing it firmly in the low VOC band under the EU VOC Directive. This contributes to better indoor air quality during and after application. The paint is not designed for exterior use or wet-scrub washability, so it is best reserved for low-traffic walls and ceilings rather than high-contact surfaces.
