Signature Sound, Built for a Crowd:

The LG xboom Stage 501 delivers 220W of output in AC mode - with a 2.2-channel configuration, two 5.25-inch woofers developed alongside century-old Danish audio specialist Peerless, and dual 2.5-inch full-range drivers. Drop to battery and you still get 160W, so the sound holds up whether the cable is in or not. The xboom Signature Sound profile was shaped in collaboration with will.i.am, and the AI Sound mode adjusts the EQ in real time based on the content being played.

AI Karaoke Master - No App, No Subscription:

AI Karaoke Master separates vocals from any track playing via Bluetooth, turning it into a karaoke backing without needing a specialist file or a paid service. Key Changer lets the singer shift the pitch to suit their range, while Howling Canceller keeps feedback under control across both 6.3 mm mic inputs. A 6.3 mm guitar input is also provided, with 190 mV sensitivity at 1 kHz.

Space Calibration Pro and Versatile Placement:

The built-in gyro sensor detects how the speaker is positioned and automatically recalibrates the EQ via Space Calibration Pro, so the sound profile is optimised whether the unit is standing vertically, lying horizontal, mounted on a pole, or tilted. Four mounting options give real flexibility across indoor and outdoor settings, and the IPX4 rating means splashing water from any direction is not a concern.

Battery Life and Charging:

The 99.1 Wh lithium-ion battery is both detachable and replaceable, so a spare can be swapped in mid-session without losing the music. In Play Time Enhance mode at 20% volume with lighting off, runtime reaches up to 25 hours. A full charge takes 3 hours or under, and a USB-C DC output port means the Stage 501 can top up a phone or other device from its own battery.

Connectivity and Multi-Speaker Linking:

Bluetooth 6.1 with Multipoint support allows two devices to be paired simultaneously - useful when two people are queuing tracks from different phones. Auracast broadcasts audio to multiple compatible speakers over Bluetooth LE Audio, while Party Link (available in both dual and multi modes) connects multiple xboom units for a larger setup. Google Fast Pair speeds up initial pairing on Android devices, and a 3.5 mm aux input handles wired sources.

Lights, DJ Tools, and App Control:

A multi-colour LED light show is built in, with AI Lighting adjusting the display to match the music. Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Charge the battery fully before first use - a full charge takes 3 hours or under. Use Google Fast Pair on Android to connect quickly, or pair via Bluetooth 6.1 on any compatible device. Download the xboom app to access DJ tools and lighting controls.

Placement and Positioning:

The Stage 501 supports four mounting positions: vertical, horizontal, pole-mounted, and tilted. Space Calibration Pro automatically detects the orientation via the built-in gyro sensor and adjusts the EQ accordingly, so no manual tuning is needed after repositioning.

Battery Care:

The lithium-ion battery is detachable and replaceable, making it straightforward to swap in a fully charged spare for extended sessions. Avoid charging in temperatures outside the 5°C - 35°C operating range to maintain battery health over time.

Cleaning and Storage:

Wipe the cabinet down with a dry or lightly damp cloth. The IPX4 rating covers splashing water from any direction during normal use, but the water-resistant function is limited when the unit is charging - keep the charging port clear of moisture during that time.
