Each Galaxy Buds4 Pro earbud houses an advanced 2-way speaker system - an 11mm woofer paired with a 5.5mm planar tweeter - driven by dual amplifiers per bud. Via the Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC-UHQ), audio streams wirelessly at 24-bit/96 kHz, meeting Hi-Res Audio standard without a cable. Supported codecs also include AAC, SBC, SSC, and LC3 for broad device compatibility.

Adaptive ANC 2.0 for Real-Time Noise Control:

The Buds4 Pro use Adaptive ANC 2.0, which reads your environment in real time and adjusts noise cancellation levels automatically - so the same pair of buds performs well on a busy commute or in a quiet office. A 6-microphone array with Deep Neural Network (DNN) processing powers Super Clear Call voice isolation, and Super Wide Band call audio reaches up to 16 kHz for noticeably clearer voice quality on calls.

Voice Detect, Siren Detect, and Ambient Sound:

Voice Detect automatically switches to Ambient Sound mode when you start speaking, so you can hold a conversation without removing the buds. Siren Detect does the same when it identifies emergency vehicle sirens nearby. Adaptive Noise Control blends ANC and ambient sound continuously based on what it detects around you.

Bluetooth 6.1 with LE Audio and Auto Switch:

Bluetooth 6.1 provides a stable wireless connection, and LE Audio support includes Auracast broadcast audio. Auto Switch allows the buds to transfer audio between paired Samsung Galaxy devices automatically - useful if you move from a phone call to a tablet without manual re-pairing. Pinch Control on the stem handles playback, calls, and volume, and Head Gesture recognition (One UI 8.5 required) lets you nod or shake to answer or decline calls hands-free.

Galaxy AI Features:

On compatible Samsung Galaxy devices, the Buds4 Pro support Galaxy AI Interpreter for real-time spoken language translation directly through the earbuds, and Bixby Voice Wake-up for hands-free AI assistant access. Samsung Find integration allows you to locate the buds via the SmartThings network if they go missing. Note: these features require a Samsung Galaxy device running One UI 6.1.1 or higher; on non-Samsung Android and iOS devices the Buds4 Pro function as standard Bluetooth audio earbuds.

Battery Life and Charging:

With ANC on, each earbud delivers up to 6 hours of music playback per charge, extending to up to 26 hours total with the charging case. With ANC off, that rises to up to 7 hours per charge and up to 30 hours total. The case supports wireless charging (pad sold separately); a USB-C cable is not included in the box. Full charge takes approximately 87 minutes.

IP57 Rated for Dust and Water Resistance:

The earbuds carry an IP57 rating - dust-tight and tested for immersion in up to 1 metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, making them suitable for workouts and use in wet conditions. The charging case is not water resistant and should be kept dry.

Setup and Care

Getting Started:

Open the charging case near your Samsung Galaxy device and follow the on-screen pairing prompt - no app download is required on devices running One UI 8.5. For iOS or non-Samsung Android devices, pair via Bluetooth settings in the standard way. Full Galaxy AI features are available on Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1.1 or higher.

Controls:

Use Pinch Control on the earbud stem to manage playback, calls, and volume. Head Gesture recognition - nodding to answer a call or shaking to decline - activates through Galaxy AI settings on One UI 8.5 devices. Bixby Voice Wake-up can be enabled in the Galaxy Wearable section of your Samsung device settings.

Keeping Your Buds4 Pro Clean:

Wipe the earbuds and ear tips with a soft, dry cloth after workouts or use in wet conditions. Remove and rinse the silicone ear tips with fresh water if needed, and allow them to dry fully before reattaching. Keep the charging case dry and away from moisture at all times, as it does not carry a water resistance rating.

Charging:

Place the earbuds in the case to charge; the case itself charges via wireless pad (sold separately) or via a USB-C cable connected to the case port. Charge time is approximately 87 minutes for a full case charge. Store the earbuds in the closed case when not in use to preserve battery health over time.
