These are the things a job needs alongside the tool, and they fall into four groups. Access covers ladders, from four by five and four by six multi-purpose aluminium ladders through telescopic ladders around 3.8 metres to folding four-way ladders with scaffold plates and mini scaffold towers; the rule worth following is that a ladder should extend roughly a metre above the point you are working at. Cutting covers retractable and folding knives with straight, snap-off and carbide blades. Sticking covers wood glue, polyurethane and super glue, masking and low tack tape, packing tape, insulating tape and hook and loop fastening. Seeing and measuring covers rechargeable torches and headlights rated in lumens, along with measuring tapes in five and eight metre lengths.

The names here are the ones used on site, including Stanley for knives and blades, Faithfull for snap-off blades, Komelon for contractors tapes, Dargan, Protool, Buildsure and Proplus across ladders and towers, Lighthouse and ScanGrip for rechargeable lighting, and Loctite, Gorilla, Douglas and Velcro across adhesives and fastening. The main departments underneath are Ladders, Tape, Glue, Lamps & Torches, Measuring Tapes and Tool Boxes.
