This is the repair drawer of the plumbing range, the small parts that fix a fault rather than fit a new installation, and almost all of it is bought to a measurement. Waste and sink work covers plugs and chains, tap diffuser sets, telescopic extension pieces, basin and sink fixing kits and washing machine and dishwasher hoses. Cistern and toilet work covers float valve diaphragm washers, internal rubber flush pipe connectors and blanking plugs, which are the usual culprits behind a running or leaking cistern. Pipework covers galvanised clips in three eighths and three quarter inch, nuts, and spare blades for a pipe cutter. Beyond the small parts sit the bigger items: twin shower pumps rated by bar pressure for boosting a gravity-fed system, immersion elements with safety stats, and scale inhibitors for hard water areas. Take the old part with you or measure it, because half inch and fifteen millimetre are not interchangeable.
