Built for wet days outdoors:
The AgriShield Kids Waterproof & Breathable Trouser is made from 100% Polyester with a Polyurethane Coated Tricot Knit construction - the same PU fabric technology used across the AgriShield adult range. Welded seams replace conventional stitching to eliminate stitch-hole water ingress, and the trouser is independently pressure tested to a 10,000mm water column, conforming to EN343 4.2.
Breathable and comfortable for active children:
The PU fabric construction is designed to be highly breathable alongside its waterproof performance, so children remain comfortable during active outdoor use rather than overheating inside a non-breathable shell. An elasticated waist and press studs on the ankles allow a practical, adjustable fit across sizes from Age 3-4 through to Age 11-12.
Safety and hygiene features:
Reflective strips are incorporated into the garment to improve visibility in low-light conditions - a practical consideration for farm and rural settings. An anti-fungal treatment is applied to the fabric, and the trouser also conforms to EN13034 for chemical resistance, making it suitable for environments where children may be exposed to agricultural splashes.
