Four burners for every task on the hob:

The PBP6B2K60 gives you a high-speed 3 kW burner for rapid boiling, two standard 1.75 kW burners for everyday frying and sautéing, and a 1 kW economy burner for gentle simmering or keeping sauces warm. All four burners light automatically with a single push-and-twist of the sword dial, so there is no need for a separate lighter.

Ergonomic sword dials for precise control:

Bosch's ergonomic sword dials feature a raised centre that makes fine adjustments easier, whether you are turning from a rolling boil down to a low simmer or anywhere in between. The controls are positioned on the right-hand side of the hob, keeping the cooking surface clear and unobstructed. Wider spacing between the dials gives you better access to each burner without reaching over hot pots.

Built-in safety on every burner:

Each burner is fitted with an electromagnetic Safety gas cut-off device. If a flame is accidentally extinguished by a spillover or a draught, the gas supply to that burner is cut off automatically. This works independently on all four burners, so a problem at one zone does not affect the others.

Natural gas, LPG, and Biomethane-ready:

The hob connects to a natural gas supply as standard, and an LPG nozzle set is included in the box for use with bottled gas. Bosch has also certified this model as Biomethane-ready, meaning it is compatible with biomethane as a renewable gas alternative without any modification. A 1 metre supply cord is included, though professional hardwiring to a 13 Amp fused spur is required rather than a standard plug connection.

Frameless design with cast iron pan supports:

The PBP6B2K60 has a frameless construction that sits flush with the worktop surround and is straightforward to wipe clean around the edges. Continuous cast iron pan supports run across the full hob surface, so pans can be slid between burners without lifting. The white enamel finish suits traditional and country-style kitchen schemes. Setup and Care

Installation:

The PBP6B2K60 requires a cutout of 560 mm wide by 480 mm deep, with a minimum worktop thickness of 20 mm. Hardwiring to a 13 Amp fused spur is required - no plug is included. Gas connection and installation must be carried out by a registered Gas Safe engineer.

LPG Conversion:

The hob ships with a natural gas configuration. The included LPG nozzle set allows conversion to bottled liquid gas - this conversion must be performed by a qualified gas engineer. Retain the natural gas nozzles in case you revert to mains gas in the future.

Cleaning the Hob Surface:

The white enamel surface and cast iron pan supports can be removed and cleaned separately. Wipe the enamel surface with a damp cloth and a mild detergent after each use once the hob has cooled. Avoid abrasive pads or scouring powders, which can mark the enamel finish.

Pan Support Care:

The continuous cast iron pan supports are dishwasher-safe or can be soaked in warm soapy water to loosen stubborn residue. Dry them thoroughly before replacing to prevent surface rust forming on the cast iron over time.
