Setup and Care

Getting started:

Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least two hours after delivery before switching it on, giving the refrigerant time to settle. The door hinge is factory-set to the right-hand side and can be reversed if your kitchen layout requires a left-hand opening - refer to the installation guide included in the box for step-by-step instructions.

Temperature settings:

Use the touch-control panel to set the fridge between 2 °C and 8 °C and the freezer between -16 °C and -24 °C. The recommended starting points are 4 °C for the fridge and -18 °C for the freezer, which suit most household storage requirements.

Keeping it clean:

Because Total NoFrost prevents ice accumulation, there is no need to defrost the interior manually. Wipe shelves and drawers with a soft damp cloth and a mild kitchen cleaner; avoid abrasive pads or solvent-based products on the glass shelves or plastic components. The exterior can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

Energy and registration:

Registering the appliance with Bosch within 3 months of purchase extends the standard 2-year manufacturer's guarantee to 5 years at no additional cost - registration is completed online at the Bosch website. The D-rated inverter compressor adjusts its output to match demand, keeping running costs consistent over time at a rated consumption of 199 kWh per year.
