Bosch's 3D Hotair system circulates heat evenly throughout the oven, allowing you to cook on up to three levels simultaneously without flavours transferring between dishes.

Added Steam for Better Baking Results:

A removable 0.25-litre water bowl sits in the oven base and introduces steam into the cavity during cooking. This Hotair Steam function gives bread a crisp crust while keeping the interior moist, and helps retain the natural flavour and moisture of roasted meat. The steam bowl is dishwasher-safe and simple to fill before each use.

EcoClean Direct Rear-Wall Coating:

The rear wall of the oven cavity is coated with Bosch's EcoClean Direct micro-ceramic surface, which passively absorbs and breaks down grease splatter during cooking cycles. This reduces the frequency of manual scrubbing and the coating is designed to last the lifetime of the appliance. Hydrolytic (steam) cleaning is also available for routine maintenance of the remaining interior surfaces.

Retractable Dials and LED Display:

Setup and Care

Installation:

The HQA534BS3B is designed for installation into a standard 60 cm built-in housing unit. The installation compartment requires a minimum height of 585 mm, minimum width of 560 mm, and a depth of 550 mm. Connection must be made by a qualified electrician to a hard-wired 13 A supply; no plug is supplied.

First Use:

Before cooking for the first time, run the oven empty at 200 °C for approximately 30 minutes using the Hot Air function to burn off any residual manufacturing odour. Ensure the kitchen is well ventilated during this initial run. The steam bowl should be rinsed with clean water before first use.

Everyday Cleaning:

The EcoClean Direct coating on the rear wall works passively during cooking and does not require scrubbing; wipe lightly with a damp cloth when cool. For the remaining interior surfaces, use the Hydrolytic steam-clean function: add water to the steam bowl, select the clean programme, and wipe away loosened residue once the cycle has finished and the oven has cooled. The steam bowl, combination grids, baking tray, and universal pan are all dishwasher-safe.

Door Glass and Exterior Care:

The inner door glass panel is removable for thorough cleaning; refer to the user manual for the correct removal sequence. Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to maintain the finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool pads on any surface.
