The MBA578BS7B gives you a 71 L main cavity and a 34 L second cavity in a single built-in column unit — a combined 105 L of cooking space. Both cavities are independently controlled, so you can roast at high heat in the main oven while gently warming or grilling in the top oven at the same time.

3D Hotair for consistent, even results:

The main oven uses Bosch's 3D Hotair system, which circulates heat three-dimensionally throughout the cavity rather than from a single direction. This allows you to cook two dishes on different shelf levels simultaneously without flavours transferring between them. With five adjustable shelf positions and a temperature range of 30–275 °C, the main oven handles everything from slow low-temperature cooking to high-heat pizza.

AutoPilot 30 takes the guesswork out of cooking:

AutoPilot 30 provides 30 pre-programmed settings for a wide variety of dishes. Enter the dish type and weight, and the oven automatically selects the correct heating mode, temperature, and cooking duration switching itself off when the food is ready. One auto reheat programme is also included for warming leftovers quickly.

Pyrolytic self-cleaning on both cavities:

Both the main and second ovens are fitted with pyrolytic self-cleaning. At the end of a cleaning cycle, the oven heats to a very high temperature that reduces grease and food residue to a fine ash, which simply wipes away once the cavity has cooled. This removes the need for chemical oven cleaners or manual scrubbing.

Home Connect Wi-Fi control:

The MBA578BS7B is Wi-Fi enabled and compatible with the Home Connect app. Once connected, you can monitor and adjust oven settings remotely from a smartphone or tablet useful for checking cooking progress or preheating the oven on your way home.

Safety and everyday practicality:

Setup and Care

Installation:

The MBA578BS7B is designed to be built in at eye level within a tall housing unit. The recess dimensions required are 888 mm (H) x 560–568 mm (W) x 550 mm (D). Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, as the oven requires a hardwired 32 Amp connection.

Registering your warranty:

Bosch offers a 2-year parts and labour warranty on this appliance. To activate cover, register the product at bosch-home.co.uk after installation. Keep your proof of purchase in a safe place as it will be required for any warranty claim.

Pyrolytic cleaning:

To clean either cavity using the pyrolytic function, remove all accessories including shelves and the universal pan before starting the cycle. The oven will lock its door automatically during the cycle and unlock once the interior has cooled to a safe temperature. Wipe away the remaining ash with a damp cloth once cool.

General care:

Wipe the pop-out dials and stainless steel front panel with a soft damp cloth after use to prevent grease build-up. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemical sprays on the stainless steel finish. The combination grids and universal pan can be cleaned by hand in warm soapy water or checked against the manufacturer's guidance for suitability in a dishwasher.
