Setup and Care

Getting started:

Place the machine on a stable, flat surface near a mains socket with sufficient clearance at the back and top for ventilation. Fill the 1.5L water tank with fresh, cold water and fit the bean hopper before switching on. Run a rinse cycle before pulling your first shot to bring the Thermoblock up to brewing temperature.

Daily use:

Empty and rinse the drip tray and grounds container regularly to keep the machine in good working order. The removable drip tray lifts out without tools and is straightforward to rinse under the tap. Top up the water tank whenever the water level indicator shows it is running low.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Purge the MyLatte Art steam wand with a brief burst of steam after each use to prevent milk residue from building up inside the tip. Use the supplied cleaning needle to clear the steam tip as needed. Descale the machine regularly using De'Longhi descaler, following the cycle prompted by the machine.

Long-term care:

Store unused beans in an airtight container away from direct sunlight rather than leaving them in the hopper for extended periods. Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth - avoid abrasive cleaners on the metal and plastic surfaces. Keep the grinder burrs free from compacted coffee residue by using the cleaning brush supplied.
