Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the water tank on the ECAM220.60.B Magnifica Start?

The Magnifica Start ECAM220.60.B has a 1.8 litre removable water tank, enough for several cups before refilling. It pairs with a 250g bean hopper, so both coffee and water can be topped up together rather than after every single drink, which suits a machine that sits on the counter for daily family use.

Does the ECAM220.60.B froth milk automatically?

Yes. The ECAM220.60.B uses De'Longhi's LatteCrema Hot system, an automatic milk frother that draws milk from its own container and self-cleans with a one-touch cycle after use. There is no manual steam wand to purge or a separate jug to wash by hand, which keeps daily cappuccino making a single-button job.

What drinks can the ECAM220.60.B make at the touch of a button?

The ECAM220.60.B has four one-touch presets: espresso, coffee, cappuccino and hot water. Each draws on the built-in bean grinder and, for the milk drinks, the automatic LatteCrema system, so a cappuccino or long coffee is made from whole beans to cup with a single button press rather than separate grinding and frothing steps.

What are the dimensions and weight of the ECAM220.60.B?

The ECAM220.60.B measures 240mm wide by 440mm deep by 350mm tall and weighs 8.9kg. That depth is worth checking against a kitchen counter or under-cupboard space before ordering, since bean-to-cup machines in this class are usually deeper front-to-back than a simple pod machine to accommodate the internal grinder and brew unit.

Can I recycle my old appliance or electrical item with Heavins.ie?

Yes, Heavins.ie is fully committed to environmental responsibility and participates in Ireland’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling scheme. That means when you buy a new electrical item from us, we offer free recycling of your old appliance or electrical item.

What happens if I need to return my order?

Returns must be scheduled within 14 days of purchase, and the item must be returned in sellable condition, including original packaging where possible. Just contact our team to arrange a hassle-free return - Returns Policy >
