Wireless Tool Control and motor protection:

Setup and Care

Getting started:

Fit a fully charged DCB547 battery before first use and confirm the blade and guard are correctly seated. Register the tool at mydewalt.dewalt.co.uk/3 within 28 days of purchase to activate the extended 3-year warranty.

Water connection:

Connect a water supply to the dual-feed inlet before beginning any cutting work on masonry or concrete. Adequate water flow to both sides of the blade controls dust effectively and helps maintain blade condition over extended use.

Wireless Tool Control setup:

Pair the saw with a compatible DeWalt WTC-enabled dust extractor following the pairing instructions in the user manual. Once paired, the extractor starts and stops automatically with the saw trigger for coordinated dust extraction.

Ongoing maintenance:

Inspect the guard, blade, and water delivery ports regularly and clear any debris from the air intake area. Store batteries in a dry location away from direct heat, and charge using only the supplied DCB118 charger to maintain battery health.
